I’m nearly finished with my work, just this and that .. and bugs bugs bugs. Clock is ticking, plane with my sister and her boyfriend is landing in the evening.
It’s Easter Monday in Europe, but here in Japan only a Kinder egg from my mom, which I brought with me, is the only reminder of that.
It’s evening, have to charge up my PASMO card, I missed the cheap train to Narrita, have to board the express, only to wait for them for one hour :). But brought my notebook, finishing touches for the demo tomorrow.
And here they are.
S prácou pomaly finišujem, už len to a hento .. a bugy bugy bugy. Hodiny tikajú, lietadlo s mojou sestrou a jej priateľom pristane tento večer.
Je vlastne Veľkonočný pondelok u nás doma, ale tu v Japonsku len kinderko od mamy, ktoré som si sem doniesol, mi to pripomína.
Už je večer, musím si ešte dobiť PASMO kartu, nestihol som lacný vlak do Narrity, takže idem expressom, nato aby som ešte hodinu na nich čakal 🙂 Ale mám zo sebou noťas, posledné zmeny pred zajtrajším demom.
A už sú tu.
I think it was not the best idea to bring a little work on my big holiday. It should be just two days in a week, but boy it’s somehow difficult to finish all the tasks in trello. I think the problem is not with time but with a place. I don’t have a good special place to work, to concentrate. The flat is a living space, Starbucks is better but only for 2-3 hours, the most productive solution is the bed, but oh my back.
Went for a run, it helped.
And my sister comes tomorrow. Have to finish all the work!
Začinam mať pocit, že zobrať si kus práce na môj veľký výlet nebol najlepší nápad. Mali to byť len 2 dni do týždňa, ale uff je dosť náročné si ich nájsť. Myslím, že problém nie je ani tak čas ale miesto. Nemám k dispozícii extra pracovný priestor kde by sa dalo dobré sústrediť. Byt je príliš rušivý, Starbucks je dobrý tak na 2-3 hodiny, najproduktívnejšie riešenie je posteľ, ale uff môj chrbát.
Šiel som si zabehať, pomohlo.
A zajtra dojde sestra. Musím dovtedy všetko stihnúť!
Science museum is for kids, I realized after I went in. And I would had so much fun as a kid there (or if I just wasn’t ashamed to join them at my age). Finally went to East gardens of the Imperial palace .. nice.
I had to work in the evening, but after I spent the last weekend in bed, I couldn’t stay at my room much more, so I tried Starbucks and joined the lonely souls working there.
Vedecké múzeum je pre deti, som si uvedomil, keď som v ňom bol. Ale ako decko by som si to tam užil (alebo keby som sa nehambil k nim pridať v mojom veku). Aspoň som končne navštívil Vychodné záhrady Cisarského paláca .. pekné.
Večer som musel ešte pracovať ale po poslednom výkende, ktorý som strávil v posteli som už nevedel vydržať na izbe a tak som skúsil Starbuks a pridal k tým všetkým ostatným osamoteným dušiam, ktoré tam pracovali.
Today I went for my second run, haven’t run for weeks prior to my arrival in Japan and I felt it, lower stamina and speed. I haven’t met many runners, but that’s probably because of the time of the day I run.
I went also to printing museum where a lovely lady have showed me around.
Thinking seriously about buying new phone for my mom, it’s fairly difficult to meet each other online on skype, because she has no apps on her phone for internet calling she’s only online if she is using the home PC. On the other hand I’m chatting with my sister everyday.
Dnes som si šiel druhykrát zabehať, to že som týždne pred tým nebehal, bolo cítiť, menšia výdrž i rýchlosť. Nestretol som moc bežcov ale to bude asi tým časom.
Taktiež návšteva múzea tlače, kde mi jedná milá pani urobila menší výklad, kedže väčšina informácii bola v japončine.
Seriózne rozmýšlam mame kúpiť nový telefón. Nevieme sa stretnúť na skype, keďže ho používa iba z domáceho PC a na jej mobil neexistuje už žiadna appka, ktorá by vedela volania cez internet. To so segrou kecám skoro každý deň.
